Since starting in August 2020, HERO Rescue has taken on many large medical cases which have included emergency veterinary care, surgical procedures, heartworm treatments and traditional veterinary care.

FOSTER

We are always looking for great fosters to help us save hounds in Middle Tennessee and across the nation. Middle Tennessee Foster needs are usually only a couple weeks since initial vetting is usually completed at Hero Rescue. Fostering requires love, willingness to work on basic training (house manners, crate training, walking, etc) until the pup’s perfect furever home is found. Crates, leashes, harnesses, etc. are provided by HERO.

Our out of state foster needs are usually only a few weeks until transport can be arranged. Foster families need to be willing to offer their home and hearts by offering a safe indoor environment with adequate food, water and other pet essentials AND be able to arrange a vet appointment for initial shots and transportation documentation.

TRANSPORT

We use volunteer transporters to help us get dogs to HERO Rescue & onto their furever families across the US,
